Biographie

Mohamed N. Triba received a Master degree of Fundamental Physics after studying at the Denis Diderot University  in Paris (1998). He earned his Ph. D in Molecular Biophysics in the same university in 2003. After post-doctoral positions in NMR spectroscopy at Oxford University (Dept. of Biochemistery) and Lyon University(Claude Bernard)/ENS Lyon (CRMN),  he obtained an associate professor position at the Paris 13 University in 2009. His main area of research is the statistical analysis of spectroscopic data obtained from liquids or biological tissues.

Biographie

Alban Moyeux obtient sa licence de Chimie à l’Université d’Artois (Lens) en 2004 et son Master en Chimie à l’Université de Cergy-Pontoise en 2005. Il travaille ensuite sur la création de nouvelles réactions de couplage catalysées par le fer et le cobalt sous la supervision de Gérard Cahiez, Directeur de recherches au CNRS et soutient sa thèse de doctorat en Novembre 2008. Il rejoint alors le groupe du Professeur Aloïs Fürstner pour une année post-doctorale à l’Institut Max-Planck de Mülheim-an-der-Ruhr (Allemagne) où il travaille sur la synthèse totale de l’Asterelin A.

En 2009, il est nommé Maître de Conférences de l’Université Paris 13.

En 2013, il est associé avec Gérard Cahiez dans le cadre du déménagement de son groupe de recherches en chimie organométallique à l’IRCP (Institut de Recherche de Chimie Paris) à l’Ecole Chimie ParisTech (ex ENSCP). Il devient membre co-fondateur d’un laboratoire international associé (LIA) avec le Professeur Paul Knochel de l’Université de Munich et d’un laboratoire commun (LabCom) avec la société M2i dans le cadre de la recherche concernant la synthèse de phéromones.

Enfin, en 2017, il rejoint le laboratoire CSPBAT pour travailler en collaboration avec Milena Salerno sur la synthèse de complexes organométalliques utilisés dans le cadre du diagnostic précoce de la maladie d’Alzheimer.

Biography

Milena Salerno has obtained a PhD in chemistry-spectroscopy in 2001 from the Université Paris 13. After a post-doctoral at CEA (Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives), and a temporary assistant of teaching and research possition, she got a position of associate professor at the Université Paris 13 in 2004.

She works on the study of the mechanisms of transport of molecules, through cellular membranes and their fate inside the cells using spectrocopics tehcniques. This type of studies, allow her to participate in the rational development of metallic complexes for Alzheimer disease diagnosis or treatment. For this, she is interested in the cellular transport through Blood Brain Barrier in order to correlate the physicochemical characteristics of the transport through this barrier and the molecular characteristics that futures developed molecules should have.

Biography


Tony Palama studied biology at University of La Réunion and University of Montpellier 2. He obtained a Licence in Cell Biology and Physiology (in 2003) and a Master in Plant Genomics and Advanced Technologies (in 2006). Tony has continued his interest in biology, chemistry and physics by spending some years in The Netherlands where he started a sandwich PhD between Universiteit Leiden (NL) and Université de La Réunion (FR). He was supervised by Prof. Robert Verpoorte (Head of the Pharmacognosie group, Leiden) and Dr. Hippolyte Kodja (UMR PVBMT, La Réunion). His PhD thesis, entitled “Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)-based metabolomics characterization of Vanilla planifolia”, was defended on the 10th of June 2010, in Leiden.
After his PhD, Tony returned to La Réunion as a post-doctoral researcher at the GIP CYROI to continue his research on the characterization of vanilla and others aromatic and medicinal plants. The skills he developed in NMR-based metabolomics were efficiently employed in a second post-doc where he made the discrimination of bacteria species using the analysis of culture supernatant by NMR spectroscopy. This work was performed at the High-Field NMR Center in Villeurbanne (FR) under the supervision of Dr. Bénédicte Elena-Herrmann and worked in collaboration with BioMérieux Lab. Then, in Toulouse (FR), Tony got the opportunity to work on the metabolomic and fluxomic study of cancer cells as a research engineer with support of Canceropole GSO at the MetaToul platform. During this period, he developed skills and expertise in 13C-labelling experiments, flux analysis and metabolic network visualization.
Since September 2017, Tony Palama has an assistant-professor position at Université Paris 13, in Bobigny. He is conducting research in Clinical Metabolomics by joining the team of Prof. Philippe Savarin from the « Chimie Structures et Propriétés de Biomatériaux et d’Agents Thérapeutiques » CSPBAT laboratory.

Biographie

Since  septembre 2017, she direct a  scientific group called NanoPhotoMed (NPM) , composed by young researchers  ,PhD  student and industrial researcher ,in order to realize news nanomedical-devices  applied in the field of nanomedicine and biosensors. She accomplished several industrial contracts among which, the collaboration with BIO-EVEN start up (www.bio-even.com) and TORSKAL s.r.l. nanoscience (www.torskal.fr)  for the development of news  biocompatibles  nanotherapeutics on cancer therapy. Since 2018, she is co-head of the team called Nanomedicine, Biomarker and detection (NBD) on the development of therapeutics and biomarker-detection in order to create new nanomedical and theranostic-devices. Her research activities are focused on the realisation of nanoparticles, biosensors and the development of Nano-hybrid materials for Safety . Recently she obtained a Ligue cancer project, Emergence@INC International and  a leadership of Nano-Technology platform France-Chine. Finally, she published more than 90 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 6 world patents, with a huge impact on the nanomedicine and chemistry scientific communities.
